Momentum Africa participated in the Youth Forum and Women’s Forum held alongside the 11th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea where 15 Heads of State and Government attended.

The OACPS Summit is one of the most significant intergovernmental gatherings bringing together member states from across Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. The Women’s Forum, convened as part of the broader summit programme, focused on the central role of women in driving food security, economic resilience, and sustainable development across member regions. The Youth Forum focused on the demographic that is shaping Africa’s structural transformation.

Ronald Osumba participated as a speaker in both Forums, contributing to discussions on leadership, institutional resilience, and the governance frameworks necessary to support inclusive and sustainable development outcomes. His participation contributed perspectives on the role of strategic leadership and institutional capacity in addressing the structural challenges facing youth and women-led economic empowerment initiatives across the regions.

The engagement positioned Momentum Africa within a high-level multilateral space, contributing to conversations that sit at the intersection of geopolitics, development policy, regional cooperation, and institutional governance. Momentum and the OACPS Secretariat are exploring collaboration in the development of delivery mechanisms for the Summit that will lead to better implementation of the Summit outcomes.
