Momentum Africa provided strategic advisory support to the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs (MOFA) during the Africa Forward Summit, held on 11th and 12th May 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya.

The Africa Forward Summit brought together government leaders, diplomatic representatives, development partners, and strategic stakeholders to advance Kenya’s regional and continental engagement agenda. The summit was structured across multiple thematic tracks covering areas including Reform of the Global Financial Architecture, capital and investment attraction, Peace and Security, Green Industrialization and Energy Transition, Health, Agriculture, AI and Blue Economy, and Kenya’s positioning within the broader African development architecture.

Momentum worked as an embedded strategic support in the Office of the Principal Secretary, Foreign Affairs, and operating across the summit tracks. The work focused on supporting message alignment, narrative coherence, and strategic framing — ensuring that the diverse outputs and discussions across tracks converged into a unified, coherent, and implementation-oriented summit position.

This engagement demonstrated Momentum’s capacity to operate at the highest levels of government, supporting complex, multi-stakeholder institutional processes that require both strategic clarity and precise execution. The work required an understanding of Africa’s and Kenya’s foreign policy priorities, continental dynamics, and the institutional coordination required to deliver coherent outcomes from a large-scale government summit.
