Momentum Africa, in partnership with Bajeti Hub, hosted a closed-door executive breakfast roundtable at the Nairobi Serena Hotel bringing together CEOs, managing directors, and senior executives from across Kenya’s private sector. Represented sectors included banking, telecommunications, manufacturing, technology, logistics, FMCG, and energy.

The session was convened against the backdrop of Kenya’s evolving fiscal environment and focused specifically on the implications of the 2026/27 Budget Policy Statement (BPS) for business operations, investment decisions, and the broader operating environment. The discussion was structured around the theme “Governing Under Pressure” — a framing that captured the reality facing many organisations navigating constrained fiscal conditions, shifting policy signals, and an uncertain economic outlook.

The roundtable provided a confidential, peer-level space for senior leaders to speak candidly about the pressures their organisations are managing, share strategic perspectives, and collectively interrogate the emerging fiscal and policy landscape. Bajeti Hub contributed budget analysis and fiscal expertise to ground the discussion in the specific provisions and implications of the BPS.

The engagement reinforced Momentum’s convening role in bringing together senior private sector leadership for substantive, agenda-setting conversations at critical moments in the policy and economic calendar.
